Job Summary: As a Hospice QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained through comprehensive chart auditing and quality assurance processes. You will work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to review and enhance our hospice care practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed chart audits to ensure compliance with hospice care regulations and standards.
  • Utilize HospiceMD software to review patient records, track care quality metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to address quality issues, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain QA protocols and policies to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports on quality metrics, trends, and performance outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Has experience in hospice care with a focus on quality assurance and chart auditing.
  • Proficiency in HospiceMD software and other relevant healthcare IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of hospice care regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
