We are seeking a talented Purchaser/Driver to join Sotogrande Davao Hotel in Maa, Davao City. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for procuring necessary supplies and materials for our hotel, as well as safely transporting these items.

What you'll be doing:

  • Research and source the most cost-effective and reliable suppliers of goods and materials required by the hotel and resort operations
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices and terms
  • Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels
  • Liaise with managers to understand their purchasing needs
  • Efficiently and safely transport purchased goods to the appropriate properties
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities and expenditures
  • Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and reduce costs

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the hotel, resort, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A valid driver's license and experience driving a variety of vehicles.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a collaborative approach to working with the wider team.
