Procurement Associate / Procurement Sr. Associate

Job Description:

The day-to-day responsibilities include execute sourcing strategies, negotiating with transportation vendors, managing vendor relationships ad contracts, analyze market trends and logistics costs and ensure smooth coordination across departments.

  • Assist in sourcing, identifying, evaluating, and onboarding reliable transport providers, ensuring compliance with pricing, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in procurement strategies through market analysis and supplier capability assessments.
  • Build long-term partnerships with key vendors, monitor performance, resolve operational issues with the help of the superior, and conduct regular reviews of the truckers.
  • Coordinate negotiations to secure favorable pricing and contract terms that align with company budgets and compliance requirements.
  • Work in close coordination with logistics operations, customer account management, finance, and legal teams to align procurement activities and ensure procurement needs are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • With at least 1-year experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management, or experience in the logistics or transportation industry
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Knowledge of market analysis and cost modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
