  • Record and validate accounting transactions such as invoices, billings, collections, and payments.
  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.

  • Verify completeness and accuracy of supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparation of Statements of Account (SOA), vouchers, and summaries.
  • Ensure transactions are properly documented and filed.

BUSINESS PROCESS

Key Functions:

  • Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Monitor deadlines for submissions, payments, and collections.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or missing documents to supervisors.
  • Assist in correcting errors in accounting records.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

COMMERCIAL / STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION

Competencies: Client Service Orientation, Communication

Key Functions:

  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding accounting requirements.
  • Respond to basic inquiries from suppliers, clients, and branches.
  • Follow up on missing or unclear documents.
  • Provide supporting documents as requested, subject to approval.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Accounting Supervisor.

HUMAN RESOURCES

Key Functions:

  • Safeguard confidential financial and company information.
  • Comply with company policies, accounting standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Manage assigned workload to meet deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with accounting and finance team members.

  • Support departmental initiatives and ad-hoc assignments.

SELF-DEVELOPMENT

Key Functions:

  • Participate in accounting and finance-related training programs.
  • Improve proficiency in spreadsheets, accounting systems, and tools.
  • Stay updated on basic accounting procedures and company policies.
  • Suggest improvements in documentation, monitoring, or workflow when applicable.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or any related course.

Experience
  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internships may be considered.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of documentation, filing, and reconciliation processes.
