About the Role

Signature Home Products Inc., a fast-growing distributor of pet care, household, and personal care products, is seeking an HR Officer to handle day-to-day HR operations and light administrative functions. This role is crucial in ensuring employee productivity, payroll accuracy, and office efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor employee time-in, time-out, attendance, and leaves.
  • Properly track and monitor field employees to ensure compliance and productivity.
  • Compute and process employee salaries, benefits, and government contributions in coordination with Accounting.
  • Handle recruitment and hiring: job posting, screening applicants, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Monitor employee KPIs in coordination with department heads.
  • Maintain a strong company culture, discipline, and employee engagement.
  • Organize team-building activities, events, and company programs to improve morale.
  • Address employee concerns and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Handle and monitor office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Recommend initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of HR experience (generalist or officer level).
  • Knowledge of HR processes: payroll, timekeeping, recruitment, and labor law compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and trustworthy, able to handle confidential information.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
