Höegh Autoliners is a global player in Ro/Ro deep sea transportation services and operates the greenest fleet in this segment. The company owns and operates approx. 40 Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs) in global trade systems, making around 3 000 port calls yearly. Managed from a worldwide network of around 16 offices, our main customers are major manufacturers of new cars, heavy machinery, and other rolling stock.

Ship Management Control - Vessel Accounting is looking for a Vessel Controller who will be responsible for financial functions related to review, analysis, and presentation of ship's operational expenses and capital expenditures.

Main responsibilities:

• Control over invoice processing
• Month-end book closing and Financial Close
• Preparation of Budget, Variance Analysis and Reporting
• Provide support to Accounting Manager and Head of Ship Management
• Provide input to enhance current processes
• Shall support and comply with company policies and procedure for Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management System as required by ISO 9001,14001 & 45001

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (preferrably CPA)
• At least 5 years relevant experience in accounting
• Experience and knowledge of shipping industry (preferrably Ship Management)
• Proficient in accounting systems (preferrably with experience in process automation)
• Analytical and detail oriented
• Honest, disciplined, organized, and has a positive mindset
• Team player who can also work independently
• Having experience in an international environment is advantageous
