National Business Development Director

We are looking for an accomplished and strategic National Business Development Director to spearhead the acquisition and management of transport handling projects within the Philippine government sector, while aggressively expanding market share among the top 100 shipping forwarders nationwide. This role is pivotal in strengthening our presence in both public and private markets, and ensuring sustainable revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the acquisition and management of government transport handling projects.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow market share among top shipping forwarders nationwide.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with government agencies, freight forwarders, and other strategic partners.
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement systems, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide oversight on project execution, ensuring operational excellence and timely delivery.
  • Represent the company in high-level negotiations, presentations, and industry events.
  • Travel nationwide to drive account acquisition, strengthen partnerships, and supervise projects.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Public Administration, or related field. Master's Degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in logistics/shipping, with 5 years in a senior leadership role in sales or business development.
  • Proven track record in handling government transport projects and/or strategic partnerships with major freight forwarders.
  • Strong knowledge of port operations, shipping processes, and interisland logistics within the Philippine archipelago.
  • In-depth understanding of government procurement systems and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Philippines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php90, Php100,000.00 per month
