The Growth & Partnerships Manager will lead ARQ SME BDC's outreach, marketing, and program execution efforts to strengthen brand presence, expand strategic partnerships, and ensure effective delivery of initiatives that support SMEs. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring the ability to design and execute growth strategies while managing a lean team.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Lead outreach efforts to identify, build, and manage partnerships with SME networks, industry associations, ecosystem enablers, and investors.
  • Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of SME leads and partner opportunities.
  • Represent ARQ SME BDC in external forums, panels, and ecosystem engagements.
  • Oversee negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements to ensure mutual value creation.

2. Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies (digital, social media, events, thought leadership) to strengthen ARQ SME BDC's positioning with approved external service providers.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee preparation of investor-facing reports, newsletters, and impact communication.
  • Track and report marketing metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.

3. Program Management (SME-Focused Initiatives)

  • Manage the design and execution of portfolio business development services (e.g., Expert Elevate Program, advisory group).
  • Oversee delivery of SME support programs in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure program impact is measured and reported (e.g., ESG, inclusion, resilience metrics).

4. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and mentor the Business Development Associate and Programs & Marketing Associate, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, provide coaching, and foster professional growth within the team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Investments, and Operations to align business development activities with firm strategy.
