Job Summary:

The Line Cook 2 is a versatile kitchen team member capable of handling at least two different stations in the restaurant. This role requires a solid foundation in Japanese cooking, adaptability, and the ability to support senior cooks during peak hours.

Requirements:

  • At least 1–2 years of kitchen experience, preferably in Japanese cuisine.
  • Ability to manage at least two stations (e.g., grill + fry, sushi + prep, or ramen + hot dishes).
  • Familiarity with Japanese cooking methods, sauces, and ingredients.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and cooking Japanese dishes across at least two kitchen stations.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in food preparation.
  • Support Line Cook 1 in training junior staff.
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines strictly.
  • Help with prep work, stock rotation, and mise en place.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php20,000.00 per month
