The Returns Supervisor oversees the efficient processing of returned products, managing a team to inspect, categorize, and disposition of items according to company policy while ensuring accurate records and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include training and supervising staff, processing credits, identifying and resolving issues with returns and inventory, and maintaining a safe and organized returns area, ultimately ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance and monitoring of all returns in the warehouse.
  • Handles customer inquiries, complaints, and issues related to returns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather insights and minimize return rates.
  • Designs standard processes related to returns.
  • Implement and refine processes to improve operational efficiency and turnaround times.
  • Evaluate the quality of returned products and determine appropriate handling.
  • Ensure proper stocking, restocking, or disposal of returned items according to company policies
  • Responsible for providing on-time information to management in order to execute business plans in efficient manner.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned by immediate leader from time to time
  • Plans cost-savings initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Business Management or Supply Chain Management (any 4-year business course may be considered).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in Logistics and Transport.
  • With exposure to warehouse management and proven people management skills.
  • Familiar with system applications and their usage.
