Job Summary:

The Pollution Control Officer (PCO) ensures the company's compliance with environmental laws and regulations. This includes monitoring and evaluating environmental practices, managing waste disposal, and implementing sustainable solutions within company operations. The PCO plays a key role in supporting SMK Electronics (Phils.) Corp.'s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this position include processing licenses, permits, and reports related to environmental compliance and submitting them to government agencies. Ensure that the monthly report is submitted to SMK Japan in a timely manner. Ensure that the company's compliance with EMS requirements is maintained at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledgeable in environmental laws, waste management, and compliance procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in documentation and reporting
  • Preference is given to engineering courses, but graduates of any four-year course are welcome to apply.
  • PCO-related experience is an advantage.
