Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and oversee physical inventory counts (cycle counts and periodic full counts) in branches and warehouses.
  • Monitor daily stock movement and ensure accuracy between system records and actual inventory.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in stock levels, shortages, or overages.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate inventory reports for management review.
  • Track stock transfers between branches and verify proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with branch personnel to ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
  • Support audit requirements by providing accurate and timely inventory records.
  • Identify trends in shrinkage, variances, or errors and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in retail or a multi-branch setup.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data monitoring.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with POS or inventory management systems.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with branch staff and management.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
