The Inventory Clerk is responsible for monitoring, recording, and maintaining accurate stock levels in the warehouse. The role involves conducting inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, preparing reports, and assisting in inventory control measures to ensure materials and products are accounted for and available when needed. The position supports warehouse operations and ensures compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
A. Inventory Control & Monitoring
  • Record and track all incoming and outgoing stocks in the system.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full physical inventory audits.
  • Verify stock quantities against delivery receipts, pick lists, and requisitions.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and report variances to the Warehouse Team Leader.
B. Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for management review.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement, adjustments, and returns.
  • File and organize inventory documents in compliance with audit requirements.
C. Coordination & Support
  • Work closely with Warehouse and Production staff, as well as with the QAQC, to ensure accurate recording of receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
  • Assist in monitoring reorder levels and notify supervisors when stock replenishment is required.

  • Support productions by weighing the raw materials needed for mass production.

  • Support logistics and procurement teams by providing updated stock availability information.

D. Compliance & Safety
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP on stock handling and documentation.
  • Ensure inventory is stored properly to minimize damage, loss, or obsolescence.
  • Adhere to workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics.
  • Knowledge of inventory procedures, stock control methods, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Warehouse Management System/ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
