As a Jr. Post Closing Specialist, you'll handle loan suspense reports, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure timely submission of documentation to investors. The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum of 1 year experience in recent mortgage closing and/or post-closing activities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with both internal and external partners.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Experience using loan origination and/or servicing systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.

Your Daily Tasks

• Pull daily suspense reports from investor sites to identify loans suspended for purchase.
• Log notifications of suspense information in the system; document condition issue dates and cure-by deadlines.
• Review closed loan files to determine if suspense items are already present and submit them to the investor for curing.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients to obtain needed documentation promptly.
• Log and upload suspense documentation in the LOS and investor sites for timely review and purchase.
• Monitor daily condition reports for updates on suspended loans or new conditions.
• Track pipeline loans to ensure all shipped loans are conditioned or purchased on time.
• Provide updates on assigned loan statuses to the Lead.
• Prepare and provide post-consummation closing disclosures and refund checks as needed, following regulations.
• Process collateral requests with warehouses and notify Secondary when eligible for allocation.
• Handle pay history requests on aging loans through the Loan Servicing Department.
• Build knowledge on agency and investor guidelines, as well as state and TRID regulations.
