Job Purpose:

The Junior Accountant – Accounts Payable plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity by verifying documentation, applying correct coding, and upholding company policies while delivering responsive support to vendors and internal teams. To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of vendor invoices and payments within a remote BPO finance environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices with precision, ensuring proper approvals and documentation
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts
  • Input invoice data into accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise or client-specific platforms)
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies proactively
  • Maintain organized digital records in line with audit and compliance standards
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • This role will work directly with US Client.

Qualifications:

·  Education & Experience:

o   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

o   Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable.

·  Technical & Soft Skills:

o   Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

o   Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

o   Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

o   Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Docs) and Quickbooks

o   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
