Government Permits Assistant

The Government Permits Assistant is responsible for identifying and analyzing different aspects of the company's operation and applicable tax criteria, developing and maintaining contact with external parties to ensure appropriate and timely resolution of tax issues.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Permits and Licensing Management
- Reviews permit application forms for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Processes permit applications efficiently and accurately, ensuring adherence to established procedures and timelines.
- Coordinates with various government agencies, departments, and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Maintains accurate records of permit applications, approvals, denials, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicates with stakeholders regarding requests for additional information, clarify requirements, and provide updates on the status of their applications.
- Stays informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and government policies that may impact the permit application process.
2. Regulatory Compliance and Coordination
- Liaises with government agencies and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth processing of permits and compliance-related activities.
3. Administrative and Operational Support
- Provides administrative support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence, to ensure the efficient operation of the permits and tax compliance office.
- Manages petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Coordinates and books flights and travel arrangements as needed for staff and officials.
- Oversees the release and inventory of office supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Assists the General Administration Head and Managers with other duties as assigned.

Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field, but Degree in Public Administration, Regulatory Affairs or related field is an advantage
- 2-3 years experience in government permit requirements and processes
- Knowledge of local and national regulations
- Organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Problem-solving skills
- Reliable and dedicated
- Physically and mentally fit
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php19,000.00 per month
