We are looking for a strong and passionate Senior AR Accountant (NetSuite/Great Plains) system to join our global team in a permanently remote work set-up as an independent contractor. For this role, we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day accounting activities for Accounts Receivable (AR) processes in Great Plains system, including invoicing, processing deposits, collections and revenue recognition.
  • Support in creating actionable financial reporting & analysis, and providing insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Consistently deliver timely and quality client services.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and the client

People we're looking for

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Has in depth proficiency in NetSuite and Great Plains ERP system.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of combined accounting and finance experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Great Plains ERP - Account Receivable system
  • Capable of working from home with strong internet connectivity
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a sharp focus on ensuring accuracy in financial data.
  • Proactive and adaptable, eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information.
  • Tech-savvy, quick to learn and proficient in navigating accounting and workflow software.
