The SEO Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing SEO strategies for clients, actively engaging in daily SEO analysis and strategy to drive performance results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own strategic decisions within organic search optimization including technical SEO, on-page optimizations, and linking development.
  • Execute a playbook for each client's industry.
  • Ensure account execution follows a well-established methodology.
  • Analyze performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Delegate tasks within a weekly planning framework.
  • Ideate experiments for client accounts designed to produce performance improvement.
  • Work with design partners to ensure content is using search-friendly creative.
  • Act as Quality Assurance for conversion tracking, identifying breaks that render reporting less valuable.
  • Document client-specific tasks for delegation to team members.
  • Attend client meetings as an expert.
Performance Objectives:
  • Manage SEO campaigns across 10-20 brands and accounts, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximum return on investment.
  • Craft cohesive, multi-platform SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility and support digital marketing goals.
  • Possess a deep understanding of modern digital customer acquisition funnels and their intersection with SEO tactics.
  • Demonstrate strong technical SEO skills, including schema markup, site architecture, internal and external linking strategies, page redirects, and status codes.
  • Track, manage, and report on defined SEO performance KPIs, leveraging insights to optimize strategies and drive improvements.
  • Conduct strategic forecasting and budget planning for SEO efforts on six-month or longer timeframes.
