Billing Specialist

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional seeking a challenging role that leverages your skills in financial management? As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for streamlining our invoicing and payment processes, ensuring accurate and timely billing, payment collection, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client accounts, ensuring all services provided are correctly billed and payments are received.
  • Take ownership of the entire invoicing process, from initiation to completion, obtaining and verifying log sheets from clients to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with clients to facilitate payment processes, including charging credit cards and resolving payment issues, while tracking all payments and ensuring each invoice is paid in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and review aging accounts on a weekly basis to identify overdue payments and unpaid invoices, following up with clients or facilities to resolve outstanding balances promptly.
  • Submit comprehensive weekly reports to summarize billing activities, outstanding accounts, and resolved issues, providing valuable insights for business growth.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor and report on account trends and issues, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
