Job Overview

This role focuses on managing the financial processes, concentrating on client invoicing, payment tracking, and ensuring adherence to financial and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and dispatch accurate invoices for logistics services, ensuring alignment with client contracts and shipping documentation
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including tracking payments and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Reconcile payments and accounts to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment inquiries
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to verify service delivery and billing accuracy
  • Generate reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow forecasts
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in financial administration, preferably in the logistics industry
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in PortPro
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and best practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
