About the Role

This role is a key part of our team, responsible for managing shipments and ensuring they arrive on time. As a Freight Coordinator, you will be working with customers to understand their needs and coordinate logistics to meet those needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Shipment Tracking: Track and manage shipment levels across multiple locations to ensure timely arrival and departure.
  • Customs Documentation: Prepare and manage necessary customs documentation for international shipments.
  • Shipment Coordination: Oversee the daily operations of shipments, ensuring they meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Carrier Management: Manage relationships with carriers, including rate negotiations and compliance with service agreements.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all logistics activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience working in freight forwarding, shipping line, or brokerage firms, either locally or internationally.
  • Skills: Familiar with shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, PKLs, invoices, etc.), detail-oriented with experience in data entry and data validation tasks, comfortable with modern software, technology, and computer systems.
  • Education: Graduate of Customs Administration or similar degree program, licensed customs broker.
  • Language: Ability to effectively communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both in speaking and writing.
