Freight Forwarding Social Media Strategist

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our freight forwarding client's social media presence.

The specialist will create engaging content to strengthen brand positioning, attract new clients, and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the freight company's brand and sales goals.
  • Create a content calendar focused on client acquisition, thought leadership, and brand trust.
  • Identify and leverage relevant social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
  • Produce high-quality social content: industry updates, service highlights, case studies, client testimonials, infographics, and videos.
  • Translate freight forwarding expertise into accessible posts for potential clients.
  • Foster online engagement with followers, prospective clients, and industry leaders.
  • Monitor and respond to mentions, comments, and direct inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Participate in logistics-related conversations, LinkedIn groups, and communities to boost brand visibility.
  • Track performance across platforms: impressions, engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Provide regular reports to the client's leadership and management on campaign performance.
  • Optimize posting schedule, formats, and messaging based on analytics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in social media marketing (B2B preferred).
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite.
  • Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple content streams.
