As a seasoned property management professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations. A high level of proficiency with Yardi software is essential for managing financials, tenant records, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to company standards.
  • Oversee leasing activities, including marketing units, screening tenants, and preparing lease agreements that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize Yardi to manage tenant records, process payments, and generate reports that provide valuable insights into property performance.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and enforce lease compliance, taking proactive steps to prevent delinquencies and maintain positive tenant relationships.
  • Coordinate property maintenance, inspections, and vendor services, working closely with vendors to ensure timely completion of tasks and high-quality results.
  • Maintain effective communication with tenants, resolving concerns promptly and professionally, and addressing any issues that may arise during the rental process.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and track property performance metrics, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and driving business growth through data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure properties are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, staying up-to-date on changes in legislation and adapting strategies to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in property management (residential or commercial), with a proven track record of success in managing complex properties and teams.
  • Proficiency in Yardi software (Yardi Voyager, Breeze, or equivalent), with expertise in utilizing the platform to drive operational efficiency and improve tenant satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple properties or tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of lease agreements, fair housing laws, and property regulations, with a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding these areas.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands to meet deadlines and deliver results.
