Job Title: Canadian Tax Specialist

About this Role:

As a detail-oriented and organized Tax Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our client's real estate and development portfolio. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports under the guidance of our leadership and accounting partners.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong bookkeeping skills who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online (Canadian edition) for multiple properties.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements, as well as transactions from Airbnb, long-term rentals, and development projects.
  • Accurately categorize transactions according to provided guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or junior accountant role.
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, preferably with international versions (Canada, US, etc.).
  • Experience working with international clients is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in using Google Sheets/Excel for data management and tracking. Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with receipt management tools (Hubdoc, Dext) is a plus.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
