We are seeking a Financial Compliance Specialist with expertise in Australian taxation who can drive our tax compliance strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and prepare accurate company and trust tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
  • Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) calculations, Capital Gains Tax (CGT) event management, and Division 7A loan compliance and structuring;
  • Mentor and collaborate with our offshore bookkeeping team to ensure seamless integration and consistent quality across our operations;
  • Provide support in business activity statements (BAS) preparation and bookkeeping processes to guarantee consistency and quality;

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation, proficiency in Australian tax legislation and compliance, and familiarity with Australian Tax Office (ATO) systems and compliance deadlines. Proficiency in Xero and XPM is essential, with background knowledge in FYIDocs an advantage.

Requirements
  • Australian accounting and taxation qualification;
  • Strong technical expertise in Company & Trust Tax Returns, FBT, CGT Calculations, and Division 7A loans;
  • Proficient in Xero and XPM, with experience using ATO systems and compliance deadlines;
  • Familiarity with FYIDocs or similar software;
