Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Audit Specialist to ensure the accuracy, reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal audits to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide detailed documentation and insights for internal and external audits.
  • Perform thorough audits of inventory, production, and waste management systems to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with plant managers to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and resource optimization.
  • Support inventory management through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure transparent and auditable cost accounting systems in line with SOX compliance.
  • Maintain segregation of duties and implement IT controls across production, procurement, and finance systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit documentation and maintain financial workflow controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience in cost accounting, auditing or financial analysis preferably in manufacturing or food production.
  • Familiarity with dairy operations and federal milk order compliance is a plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel; experience with data visualization tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of waste management practices and environmental compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
