Leadership Role: Insurance Verification Manager

This is a leadership role that involves overseeing and guiding a team of insurance verification specialists.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Supervise and support a team of insurance verification specialists.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures for insurance verification.
  • Oversee verification of patient insurance coverage for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the billing and coding teams to address insurance-related claim rejections and denials.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, providing guidance on optimizing claim submission and reimbursement processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and performance.
  2. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement within the team.
  3. Identify opportunities for professional development among team members.
  4. Collaborate with the Insurance Verification Manager to implement improvements and address areas for enhancement.
  5. Conduct regular audits of insurance verification processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications and Competencies
  • Experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations, specifically insurance verification.
