Procurement Support Specialist
  • To facilitate the execution of system-related tasks, including user adoption, training, and organizational communications.
  • Assist in the administration, maintenance, and testing of systems performance during Coupa releases and Onboarding projects.
  • Collaborate with the team to define Purchasing Operations reporting requirements and design reporting processes.
  • Support internal and external audit exams as required.
  • Daily system requests are managed through a ticketing system, monitoring tasks to ensure system integrity and availability to Coupa instances.
  • The status of requests is tracked and maintained using a productivity tracker.
  • Special projects may arise from control testing, risk assessments, user feedback or management committee issues related to the system and/or operational risk issue.
  • A collaborative team environment is fostered by contributing to team effort as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering; a Master's Degree is preferred. Certification from ISM or APICS is also highly valued.

Desirable experiential background includes 2-5 years of experience in procurement with progressively responsible positions in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Broad experience with ERP software is essential, particularly with eProcurement systems configuration. Strong procurement skills include spend analysis, negotiations, supplier relationship management, and ability to identify problems and drive solutions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary for success in this role.
