Executive Compensation and Benefits Strategist

The role of Executive Compensation and Benefits Strategist is to spearhead the development, implementation, and management of compensation strategies, salary scales, and incentive structures that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that align with the organization's overall vision and goals
  • Oversee benefits enrollment, renewals, and eligibility tracking for a diverse range of programs including health, dental, vision, disability, retirement, and more
  • Monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to FLSA, ACA, ERISA, and wage transparency guidelines
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and salary benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures
  • Maintain up-to-date position salary bands and coordinate compensation adjustments for new hires, promotions, or policy changes
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee communications and engagement related to benefit programs
  • Collaborate with HRIS and payroll teams to ensure accurate pay setup and deductions
  • Resolve complex employee concerns related to payroll discrepancies or benefit enrollment
Requirements
  • Advanced understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations
  • Proven analytical, reporting, and Excel skills with ability to interpret complex data
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems
  • Discretion, integrity, and attention to confidentiality in handling sensitive employee data
Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM certification with advanced knowledge of compensation and benefits principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's or certification preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in compensation, benefits administration, or payroll operations
