About the Role

This role is part of our finance organization and focuses on supporting daily accounting activities. It involves working closely with other teams to ensure accurate external reporting.

The jobholder will be responsible for preparing regulatory reports, maintaining job aids and procedures, and assisting in systems implementation and automation efforts. They will also contribute to process improvement projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily/weekly/quarterly/annual regulatory reports as required.
  • Support Regulatory Reporting team projects through managing accountability, responsibility, dashboard reporting, and tracking.
  • Maintain appropriate job-aids, procedures, and policies as needed.
  • Support Quality Assurance, Internal audit, and regulator inquiries and requests.
  • Assist in Systems implementation and automation efforts Participate in process improvement projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and minimum 3 years accounting experience in Banking or Financial Services industry, or in lieu of a degree minimum 7 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
  • Proficient use of financial systems (HFM, Hyperion databases & Oracle Financials Data Warehouse (OFDW)) and Microsoft Office (Excel).
Desired Characteristics
  • Regulatory Reporting experience.
  • Experience with Axiom ControllerView.
  • Strong US GAAP and Technical Accounting knowledge.
  • Previous experience in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products, and systems and other analytical tools including Hyperion database, Oracle discoverer and Business Objects.
  • Strong communication, research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects/priorities and drive each to completion.
