About the Role

As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in vendor onboarding and offboarding, procurement process management, vendor performance oversight, and ensuring compliance with contractual and data privacy requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate smooth transitions for vendors through onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors to complete information security questionnaires and ensure compliance with data privacy requirements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and assess whether the vendor is suitable for the organization.
  • Support contract teams in tracking key onboarding dates and ensuring timely execution.
  • Collaborate with information security teams to ensure vendors meet data privacy and compliance standards during offboarding.
  • Facilitate vendor decommissioning processes with contract and finance teams.
Procurement of New Vendors
  • Organize vendor product demos and assessments to evaluate potential solutions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to determine the best fit vendors based on cost, capabilities, and business requirements.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify gaps that vendors can fill.
  • Perform market analysis to identify emerging vendors and innovative solutions.
Vendor Performance Management
  • Assist stakeholders in reviewing critical vendors' performance, ensuring it meets established criteria.
  • Hold regular meetings with vendors to discuss performance, address issues, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon service levels.
  • Collaborate with information security and contract teams to monitor vendor compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
