Strategic IT Vendor Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT vendor management specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of IT vendors, developing and implementing comprehensive vendor management strategies, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

This is a key role that requires strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive vendor management strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage a portfolio of IT vendors, including sourcing, contracting, and performance evaluation.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance against contractual obligations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to enhance vendor performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management, project management, or contract management.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, CMMI, PMBOK, COBIT, ITIL, etc.
