Business Excellence Lead

Drive business excellence and transformation across all facets of the Clients & Industries function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize resource allocation to enhance profitability by driving financial management initiatives with Finance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies across all operations, adapting processes during transformation in collaboration with Central and C&I Business Operations.
  • Oversee workforce demand management with GDS C&I Competency Leads and Talent teams to ensure alignment with business goals and effective resource utilization during change periods.
  • Lead deployment of business continuity plans, coordinating with GDS C&I Competency Leads and location teams to align Pillar location strategies for continuity.
  • Collaborate with the GDS Clients & Industries leadership team to align business strategies and operational plans with transformation efforts.
  • Work with Global, Region, and GDS transformation offices to execute transformation initiatives within GDS Clients & Industries.
  • Liaise with the GDS Enablement Services umbrella to ensure integration and support for transformation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for innovative thinking by deploying technology and AI tools, working with Competency Leads, Service Excellence, and DPS teams to enhance processes and drive digital operating models.
Indicators of Success:
  • Achievement of financial targets and improved profitability metrics within transformation context.
  • Regulatory and internal policy compliance with successful adaptation during transformation.
  • Measurable impact of corporate responsibility initiatives aligned with transformation goals.
  • Increased employee engagement and skill development through learning programs supporting transformation.

Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8–10 years of experience in business management, operational excellence, or related role in a professional services environment with transformation focus.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and managing compliance, especially during change.
  • Understanding of corporate responsibility and sustainability practices integrated into transformation efforts.
  • Experience in workforce planning and demand management during transformations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with technology and AI tools to enhance business processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and content performance tools.
