Customer Resolution Specialist


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Resolution Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also possess a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
  • Update account information and payment statuses.
  • Follow up on broken promises and missed payments.
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection activities.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills required.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices a plus.
  • Previous experience in collections or customer service an asset.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
