Procurement Associate Job

This role is a key component of our procurement department, focusing on sourcing and managing vendors. It requires coordination with the project team to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Vendor Sourcing & Management:
      • Select reliable suppliers based on project requirements.
      • Maintain an up-to-date database of trusted vendors.
    • Procurement Support:
      • Support pre-sales processes including canvassing and initial vendor negotiations.
      • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and vendor comparisons for recommendation.
    • Project Coordination:
      • Ensure proper mobilization of resources, deliveries, and equipment during site visits.
      • Monitor project progress in Cebu and report updates to the Manila team.
    • Administrative Tasks:
      • Prepare reports, documentation, and procurement records.
      • Assist in administrative tasks assigned by the Procurement Department.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in Business Administration or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in procurement, preferably in construction or related industries.
  • Background in procurement and construction required.
  • Will undergo training in Manila before assignment to Cebu.
  • Based in Cebu, with ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office and other business tools.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and conduct occasional site visits within Cebu and nearby locations.
