Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Sourcing Specialist will play a vital part in driving cost savings and optimizing our supplier network. He/she will identify, evaluate, and negotiate with qualified vendors to secure goods and services required by the organization, ensuring both competitive pricing and quality standards.

• Conduct pre-qualification process to optimize or narrow down the vendors to be invited to RFP or RFQ.
• Float a competitive tender/bidding through RFP or RFQ for goods/services that have standard technical specifications.
• Propose supplier selection/market scan and evaluation criteria in coordination with the end user and jointly approved by user department and Procurement department.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluation, in coordination with the user/technical team based on criteria set by user department. While the commercial evaluation will be in accordance with the Finance.
• Perform negotiations with a minimum of three (3) suppliers.
• Establish negotiation objectives, targets, and priorities.
• Evaluate negotiation outcomes and confirm acceptable negotiated outcomes.
• Award bid and coordinate with Vendor Management team for contract creation.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned.

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration and accounting
• Minimum Experience/Training: At least 2 years' experience in sourcing or procurement role
• Competency: Proficiency in sourcing and vendor selection
• Strong understanding of sourcing principles, negotiation techniques, and contract management.
• Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of ERP system or any bidding platform
