Job Overview

The Procurement Director is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing efforts, encompassing research, strategy execution, and contract preparation and negotiation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of procurement professionals, ensuring effective sourcing activities and compliance with US regulatory requirements and processes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing plans, conduct market research, and identify potential suppliers to meet business objectives.
  • Craft and negotiate contracts, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Partner with other departments to socialize risks and manage transactions effectively to meet business timelines.
  • Mentor and develop team members through regular coaching and feedback, conducting mid-year and year-end performance reviews as applicable.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business; 10 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years in procurement and 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Proven contracting experience specifically with HR services, strong negotiation skills, and good attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a mid-shift schedule and predominantly work from home setup.
