Job Title: Accounting Professional

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

  • Prepare and review personal income tax returns, including individual and business schedules, as well as rental properties.
  • Ensure accurate declaration of income from all sources.
  • Input dividends, distributions, and associated franking credits into the system.
  • Enter allowable deductions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed business schedules and reconcile all income and expenses.
  • Develop comprehensive rental schedules, including depreciation calculations where applicable.
  • Calculate capital gains on asset disposal, if necessary.
  • Review financial statements, tax returns, and instalment activity statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and superannuation funds.
  • Analyze ledger data and perform scrutiny to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank, loan, goods, and services tax-related items, asset registers, and depreciation schedules.
  • Prepare monthly management reports for senior management review.
  • Perform regular data entry and bookkeeping of client records.
  • Compile documents and workpapers as required by regulatory bodies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Professional License (Passed Board License Exam) is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the accounting field.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage HandiTax, and HandiLedger is highly desirable.
  • Experience in providing accounting services to multiple clients is also highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients through email is essential.
  • Australian accounting experience and knowledge of its multi-client service environment are advantageous.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to correspond with clients.
  • A dynamic personality that can adapt to a fast-paced growth environment is required.
  • Continuous learning in Accounting, Technology, and Business processes is desired.
