Junior Accounting Professional

We seek a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Junior Staff Accountant. This individual will be responsible for performing various bookkeeping functions for small business clients in the US, including maintaining accurate accounting system records by completing recurring bookkeeping processes and creating schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine accounting procedures such as bank, credit card, and payroll account reconciliations, accounts receivable (A/R), and accounts payable (A/P) as requested by clients.
- Communicate open items or anomalies to the accounting team, ensuring timely resolution.
- Examine bank transactions, flagging unknown transactions for review by the accountant or accounting lead.
- Prepare journal entries and document reconciliation items in work papers.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience in bookkeeping, with exposure to reconciliation and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain high-quality standards, and provide excellent customer service.
- Strong communication, data management, and analytical skills.
