
Insurance Customer Service Representative

The position of Insurance Service Professional is a full-time, remote role that demands exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. As the primary point of contact for clients, this job involves handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence while providing top-notch service and support.
Main Responsibilities:- Client Communication & Support
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound follow-up calls as needed
- Monitor and manage the shared service inbox, triage and forward incoming emails, and draft welcome emails to new clients
- Retrieve and forward necessary documents from insurance carriers to internal staff
- Policy Management & Endorsements
- Process policy changes, including updates to addresses, names, business entities, or ownership structures
- Submit, track, and follow up on endorsements and miscellaneous changes, working closely with carriers and internal stakeholders
- Billing, Payments & Compliance
- Accept and process direct bill payments with discretion and data security
- Maintain accurate logs of all financial transactions in the CRM system and related systems
- Generate and send invoices via email
- Renewal Tracking & Support
- Track and monitor upcoming renewals, particularly for direct bill or automatic policy renewals
- Record and update renewal details into the CRM system, upload and organize renewal documents, and communicate renewal statuses to clients
- Data Management & Documentation
- Collect and consolidate data from multiple insurance policies for processing and documentation
- Upload endorsements and supporting documents into Veruna and Google Drive, clean up and organize folders by archiving outdated certificates, and assist in the creation and maintenance of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
This role requires strong knowledge of insurance operations, familiarity with insurance terminology, and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be fluent in tools like Numbers, Pages, and iMessage, have experience or exposure to construction or contractor insurance, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
