Job Title: Support Team Supervisor

Job Description

This role involves leading a high-performing team of technical support engineers across various time zones. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operational excellence, technical quality of service, and team growth and effectiveness.

The team leader will oversee the scheduling, coverage, escalations, and rotation planning to ensure seamless delivery of services. Additionally, they will promote accountability, learning, and consistency within the team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a geographically distributed team of technical support engineers
  • Mentor and coach engineers through technical and non-technical challenges
  • Manage scheduling, coverage, escalations, and rotation planning
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a technical support engineer or DBA
  • Experience managing or leading remote or globally distributed teams
  • Strong technical depth in Linux and open-source databases
