Financial Specialist Job Description

Maintain and update financial records, ledgers and journals, to ensure accurate data.

Prepare and distribute financial statements and reports for management review, ensuring timely compliance.

Reconcile bank statements, verify record-keeping practices, and optimize financial operations.

Effectively manage accounts payable and receivable functions.

Create and monitor budgets, analyzing financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

Streamline financial consolidation processes.

Support audits, assist with tax filings, and collaborate with accounting teams to enhance processes.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting or finance, prior experience in a Big 4 audit/accounting firm, and at least 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational financial services company.

Familiarity with US GAAP and expertise in Quickbooks Online/Desktop are required. Experience with Bill.com and Sage IntAcct is highly valued.

A strong communicator, independent, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, the successful applicant must also be flexible and adaptable.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 audit/accounting firm.
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational financial services company.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Expertise in Quickbooks Online/Desktop.
  • Experience with Bill.com and Sage IntAcct highly valued.
  • Prior experience with ERP/accounting system migration.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
