Merchant Support Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Merchant Support Specialist.

This role is perfect for those who enjoy helping others and have excellent communication skills. As a Merchant Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by responding promptly to customer inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing solutions or escalating when necessary.

To be successful in this position, you should have proven experience in merchant support, customer support, or a related field. You should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable wearing multiple hats, and be able to multitask with ease.

The ideal candidate will be a product expert, able to answer questions quickly and accurately, and will have a strong understanding of e-commerce, SaaS, and analytics. They will also be able to collaborate effectively with internal teams on escalated or complex issues and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver best-in-class customer experiences through prompt responses to customer inquiries
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions or escalate when necessary
  • Become a product expert, able to answer questions quickly and accurately
  • Manage 20-30 open customer conversations at a time
  • Own follow-ups and ensure all tickets are resolved in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams on escalated or complex issues
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing efforts
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in merchant support, customer support, or a related field
  • Proven experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or analytics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated and results-driven individual
  • Able to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively
