Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Open Source Software Developer Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our developer relations team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of open source software development.

Your primary responsibility will be to engage with open source communities and developer-centric organizations, building strong relationships and driving innovation. You will work closely with our engineering team to understand current challenges and trends in the Linux ecosystem, and develop strategies to address them.

You will also be responsible for communicating our vision and products to open source communities, providing technical guidance and support as needed. This will involve creating and delivering technical documentation, presentations, and workshops that showcase our expertise and passion for open source software.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with developers, community leaders, and other stakeholders.

We are looking for a collaborative and innovative thinker who is passionate about open source software and its potential to drive positive change. If you have a strong background in Linux software packaging, experience with Snaps, debs, charms, rocks, PIP, containers, and a proven track record of contributing to open-source communities, we encourage you to apply.
