Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our global team. As a key member of our solutions engineering team, you will work closely with our managed infrastructure operations team to design and deliver open source software operations code.

  • Design and Deliver Open Source Software Operations Code: Work in Python and Golang to create high-quality open source automation capabilities that simplify operations for anyone building on Ubuntu.
  • Collaborate Across the Linux Stack: Work with kernel, networking, storage, and application teams to shape high-quality open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
  • Rethink Open Source Operations: Demonstrate sound engineering design and testing principles in your code while following agile software development practices.
  • Coach and Develop Colleagues: Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with company values.

Requirements:

You must be a passionate Python developer with a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies. You should have practical knowledge of Linux and networking and be a lifelong learner.
