Software Engineer

We are a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets.

We develop platform solutions for breakthrough initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT using diverse languages like Python, Golang, Rust, C/C++, JavaScript and Bash.

Our teams focus on working from the lowest levels of the Linux system - BIOS and boot loaders, firmware, kernel and drivers, all the way up to desktop applications and containers.

The role involves shaping product roadmaps at global sprints every six months.

You will write high quality, resilient and performant code serving millions of demanding users daily.

You will engage with users and the open source community through code reviews and issue trackers.

You will respond to customer issues as a priority and develop an understanding of enterprise requirements.

You will develop skills and awareness of security in software design and implementation.

To succeed, you should have:

  • Expertise in programming languages like Python, Golang, Rust, C/C++ or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with containerization and virtualization technologies
  • Understanding of cloud computing and data storage concepts
  • Absorption of our company's culture and values
