We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing strategic legal advice to management and departments across the organization.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough legal research and draft a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings;
- Represent the organization in court proceedings, administrative hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal processes;
- Strategize and prepare for trial, mediation, and arbitration, including case assessment and coordination of evidence;
- Provide sound legal advice on matters involving rights, obligations, legal risks, and compliance;
- Maintain confidentiality in handling all legal matters and internal communications;
- Monitor legal developments and ensure timely compliance with new laws, rules, and regulations;
- Coordinate with external counsel as needed;
- Maintain and organize legal files, documents, and case records efficiently;
- Bachelor's degree with a law degree from an accredited law school;
- Member of local bar associations in good standing;
- Senior Lawyer - minimum 10 years practicing lawyer with extensive experience in litigation;
- Junior Lawyer - minimum 5 years practicing lawyer with extensive experience in litigation;
- Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical;
- Ability to handle heavy caseload with little supervision;
- Will to work onsite at the Head Office.
