RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides legal advice/opinion on all matters relating to the business
  • Advises and represents the company before government agencies, such as regulators, judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, and legislative bodies
  • Supports the business in managing and mitigating legal, regulatory, and commercial risks and assists in implementing solutions and compliance
  • Drafts, reviews, and assists in the negotiation of contracts and other legal documents ensuring always that the interest of the business is amply protected
  • Performs other related functions inherent in team operation, acts as corporate resource, and performs other tasks assigned by higher management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a law graduate and passed the Philippine Bar examination.
  • Must have 5 to 7 years of previous experience in legal practice
  • Subject matter expert on fields of law (e.g., contracts and commercial transactions, corporate law, regulatory compliance, litigation, and labor).
