
Freight Logistics Sales Development Representative

As a freight forwarding tele sales support specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating new opportunities for our company. Your primary responsibility will be to perform telemarketing, including cold and warm calling, to set appointments.
- Perform daily telemarketing calls to potential clients to discuss their logistics needs.
- Follow up with leads to confirm appointments and ensure a smooth sales process.
- Identify prospective customers and generate leads through effective research and outreach.
- Convert leads into clients by providing excellent customer service and meeting their logistical needs.
- Update and maintain client information in the CRM system.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end import and export operations.
- Generate sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in the logistics industry.
- Experience using CargoWise or similar systems is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or related fields is preferred.
- Relevant work experience in freight/logistics is necessary.
- Team player with collaborative skills to work effectively with colleagues.
- Fast learner with good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Work from home setup is available.
