Freight Forwarding Tele Sales Support Specialist Job Description

As a freight forwarding tele sales support specialist, you will play a crucial role in generating new opportunities for our company. Your primary responsibility will be to perform telemarketing, including cold and warm calling, to set appointments.

  1. Perform daily telemarketing calls to potential clients to discuss their logistics needs.
  2. Follow up with leads to confirm appointments and ensure a smooth sales process.
  3. Identify prospective customers and generate leads through effective research and outreach.
  4. Convert leads into clients by providing excellent customer service and meeting their logistical needs.
Responsibilities (continued)
  1. Update and maintain client information in the CRM system.
  2. Possess comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end import and export operations.
  3. Generate sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in the logistics industry.
  • Experience using CargoWise or similar systems is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration or related fields is preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in freight/logistics is necessary.
  • Team player with collaborative skills to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Fast learner with good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
