Freight Forwarding Social Media Marketing Position">

We are seeking an experienced social media marketing professional to lead our freight forwarding client's online presence.

This key role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to attract new clients, drive sales, and build brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry, as well as expertise in creating engaging content and managing online communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy and Planning:
  • Create a social media strategy aligned with the client's objectives
  • Develop a content calendar focused on client acquisition, thought leadership, and brand trust
  • Identify the most effective social media channels for the client's target audience
  • Content Creation and Execution:
  • Develop and publish high-quality social content highlighting the client's services, expertise, and success stories
  • Translate complex freight forwarding concepts into easy-to-understand posts for potential clients
  • Use storytelling techniques to showcase the client's reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Engagement and Community Management:
  • Engage with followers, prospective clients, and industry leaders online to build relationships and foster brand loyalty
  • Monitor and respond to online mentions, comments, and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Participate in logistics-related conversations and communities to enhance brand visibility
  • Analytics and Optimization:
  • Track and analyze performance metrics across social media platforms
  • Provide regular reports to the client's leadership on campaign performance and insights
  • Optimize social media content and scheduling based on analytics and performance data

To succeed in this role, you will possess a bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, 2+ years of social media experience, and a strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry. Proficiency in tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Canva, and Buffer/Hootsuite is highly desirable.

A creative and organized individual with excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills is required to excel in this position.
